CCS hosted the Last Chance CCS Winter Series Meet on Saturday with the Area 5 teams.  Many swimmers were trying to make qualifying times for the Junior Olympics or Senior Championship meets.  CCS had a very successful meet.  CCS swimmers swam for 82 life time personal best swims.  Caleb Coldiron broke the team record in the 200 fly for the 15-16 boys.  Josh Mendieta made his  first ever Junior Olympic qualifying time in the 50 fly and Camille Harakal made her first ever Southern Sectional cut in the 100 backstroke.  Swimmers making more cuts were: Dan Markgraf Junior Olympic cut in the 500 free, Kelsey Frantz Senior Champ cut in the 200 breaststroke, Hannah James Sectional cut in the 100 backstroke, and Hans Schroeder Junior Olympic cuts in the 50 fly and 100 back.  Swimmers  having all personal best swims for the meet were: Kevin Chislett, Grace Coldiron, Jessica Collins, Hannah James, Jenna Marks, Alexandria Naugle, Joseph Sacco, Hans Schroeder, and Morgan Sweeney.  Swimmers who swam very well and just missed getting all personal best by one swim were: Tony Dang, Kenny Hacker, Camille Harakal, Jordan LaPlante, Austin Massolio, Josh Mendieta, Liesel Schroeder, and Sarah Van Eps.  The swimmers with the largest time drops were: Tony Dang, 29 seconds in the 100 backstroke and Cooper Whitten in the 500 free.  Swimmers taking first place finishes were: Addison Cates (200 free 200 back), Caleb Coldiron (100 breast 200 fly), Danny Douglas ( 100 free), Kelsey Frantz (100 fly), Dylan Hacker (25 back 25 breast), Camille Harakal (100 back), Hannah James (200 back),  Josh Mendieta (50 fly), and Hans Schroeder (50 fly 100 IM).
